Die-cut stickers, sheets or custom roll labels?

Labels and stickers can refer to the same type of self-adhesive product. Describe where the print will be applied, the outline shape, and whether you label by hand or with a machine. Supply a clear cut outline for custom die-cut stickers and finished dimensions for circles or rectangles.

Rolls are a delivery format for paper or film labels. For custom roll labels, specify core inner diameter, maximum roll diameter, labels per roll and which artwork edge feeds first. Check these details against your applicator.

Match label printing to the packaging conditions

Review LED UV offset, digital or UV screen printing against the stock and artwork, along with lamination, varnish and die cutting. Clear, paper and metallic-looking stocks affect color, coverage and feel differently; send a reference design or sample for review.

If the label will face condensation, oil, repeated wiping or outdoor exposure, describe the temperature, contact and expected conditions. Film or lamination alone does not establish suitability for every adhesive and printing combination.
